I do not play car games, but I played some mario kart with kids.

  • Unlike Mario Kart if you are dead last, the weapons you get do not help you that much.

  • At Spice difficulty it really felt like I was playing on my own, same goes when you get way ahead of everyone (no banding?). It seemed like whoever gets last place does not even get their time displayed.

  • I enjoyed the battle mode, but I do not fully understand the rating system.

  • Time trials mode is what one would expect. I cannot really comment on the way controls feel, because it is a very new experience to me.

  • It’s odd to me how much you can rotate mid air. I assume it is something like in Rocket League, but I never played that game.

  • The sudden reverse moves you can pull of with quick turn and well timed nitro is really cool.

  • Z and X for switching weapons is a bit weird. I have a whole other hand that could be used for that.

  • I liked the weapon with the sword icon.

Hey WebCough, thanks for playing! As you found out I clearly have a few things to work on.  I'm glad you enjoyed the battle mode, the ranking is simply based on who has the most kills > did the most damage. The KD ratio is not  a rank decider, but maybe it should be for other game modes (aka - limited lives, or team battle). The mid-air turning is for pulling off tricks (spins/flips), I need to flesh this out more and make it clear to the player.

Hopefully I will have multiplayer up and running for next demo day, so we can do some battles.
