Excellent game. What are your plans for online multiplayer?
Both modes are a lot of fun. As someone mentioned, the sandboxy mode feels like it could be like City Trial (which is the type of game I'm making).
The camera kind of sucks at times, specifically when backing up. Often, I don't want it to reverse my perspective. Also the fact that it doesn't sling back when I'm done reversing (have to move forward again) is kind of annoying.
What if you added a free camera toggle / hold button?
Any plans to add break drifting? Just like in Mario Kart, could add another layer of optional gameplay depth without making things to complicated.
Was this game inspired by Blur (the game)?
I'd like to help you playtest this once you get multiplayer running. I gotta discord with aggy friends and we playtest mp games every so often. Hit me up if you're interested

Hey GasGod, thanks for playing and for the good comments/feedback.
So this game used to have a fully functioning multiplayer system for battling and racing, it was a P2P networking solution I wrote, with Firebase being the lobby/matchmaking backend. However I really didn't like firebase so I removed it all and plan on just putting in a solution using unity's own networking services and probably with Mirror as the netcode framework.
Yeah a free camera control would be best, the reason I have the camera work this way is that this game was initially meant for mobile, then I decided I wanted to make it a real PC/console game instead.
I have a fully new car control/drifting system (all the dev stuff for this project is fragmented), I have new controls, handling, wheel physics, derstruction, car customization/building etc etc that I need fold into this project from other unity projects. Alot of stuff is on the side ready to go.
I've never played Blur, but the game looks sweet.
I'm very down to help with other devs multiplayer testing and viceversa, will hit you up on Discord!
