i swear i have tried everything to update this game, i have been waiting for ever for the release and i still cant play it because it just wont update it. what do i do. i am afraid i might have deleted some important itch stuff but im pretty sure i didnt but everytime i try and update it just says that it cant read the build properly. please help ive been looking forward to this update for a while
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by updating, but the correct way of properly installing new update is to delete the existing version from your device and then redownload newer one. Your progress will be transferred automatically.
Just to make sure, the game does NOT support ANY way of auto-updating at the moment, because the engine we are using doesn't have the built-in functionality to do so, but we are looking into way of implementing it in the future.
