it's not dead as it's mainly kept to patreon for the latest updates / announcements for the game, though the update is taking a bit longer than usual due to the dev reworking a lot of the code to make it easier for them to work on the game
(if you're wondering about when 0.04 releases publicly, it won't come out until the next major update comes out on patreon, which will probably take a while)
