you can press rmb to toggle between the command gui being visible, then while it's not visible you can press p to bring up the sandbox menu (it should tell you the other controls in the top right corner)
it is mentioned in the changelog, though it is buried in there and I suppose that not everyone wants to bother with reading a wall of text, which is fair
