Exactly! I still have some difficulty creating animations, so I tend to use a lot of references from other games to try to improve.

Oh man! That's awesome. I thought I recognized it. Seriously, it's great work! There's no shame in using references.
the only thing i dont like, is that you use not so much frame for every animations, please make more frame at least in attack animations
