Hello!

First, do you have aseprite extension installed? If not, you can open addon settings in blender, press “Install Aseprite Extension”, and drag the extension file into aseprite window. And in case it is installed, make sure it is not disabled in “Edit > Preferences > Extensions”.

Otherwise i’m kinda out of guesses (is it demo or a custom build with scripting disabled?) But you could try to launch it independently and connect to it:

  • In Aseprite press File > Sync.
  • In Blender press “Connect” on the addon panel.

In Blender it's enabled, connection is open too. I've already pressed Install Aseprite Extension, although if there is supposed to be some sort of message saying that it installed successfully, I didn't get it. And when I check Aseprite's Extensions it doesn't show up. So I'm guessing that the Install Aseprite Extension button isn't working. When I check Aseprite for File > Sync, it doesn't show up.

If it is not in the list of extensions, it is not installed.

Pressing install is supposed to show extension file at

/Users/maxi/Library/Application Support/Blender/3.6/scripts/addons/pribambase/aseprite/pribambase_aseprite.aseprite-extension

Which is installed like any other aseprite extension: by dragging into the window, or double clicking, or from preferences > extensions > install.

I added it manually, and sync popped up. Thanks for the help!
