that is just in Christianity and a few similar religions my friend, their are religions with beliefs of multiple devilish figures in their mythos though generally they don't use the word devil, but the beings are pretty much the exact same in function. With all the games and stories and shows and movies and books I partake in now when I see the word devil I just think one of, if not the highest level demon(s) in control of that series version of the underworld

The reason why we are triggered by the use of the name "devil" for any demon in DxD is specifically because it is NOT a common usage of the name as "the Devil" usually refers to Satan and to no one else, which your definition confirms because the name "Satan" means "accuser" as the Shaitan was the judge of souls in the original hebrew Bible before the roman empire murdered Jesus and invented christianism to appease his rebelling people and turned the judge of souls "the Shaitan" aka "the Accuser" into the source of evil "Satan" aka "the Devil" just to put all the blame for humans' sins onto the back of a scapegoat, "This is all the Devil's fault, this is all Satan's doing, we humans are innocent, we are victims of the Devil's schemes", ha, humans are hypocrites, they invent imaginary evil beings just to blame them for everything and not take responsibility for their own actions. 😒
But I didn't know that the name "Devil" was of greek origin but I SHOULD have known since the roman empire was the successor to the classic greek civilization and that they took everything from them, I knew that the christian god Deus came from the greek god Zeus but I didn't know that the christian Devil came from the greek Diabolos since it is not a well-known concept in classic greek as we mostly know Hades and we don't call him "devil" nor "demon", only "god of hell", but then again, he was considered a god just like Zeus because greek mythology was polytheist whereas roman christianism is monotheist, only one person is considered as a god so I guess they had to use another concept than a god to call the antagonist of Deus and they used the barely used greek concept of "diabolos" that they turned into the latin "diabolus" then eventually "Devil". 🤔
Even in Christianity that isn't how that works, and this guy, like most Christians, doesn't actually understand his religion. Probably never read the bible either. Just little portions here and there which is why they don't know their own religion. Then they proceed to complain about nonsense they made up, all on a fucking porn game, which, if they are religious they shouldn't be playing anyway.
I mean hell why even be a fan of DxD in the first place? It has "demons" as a separate race instead of being the "fallen angels" that they are. And fallen angels are a third race somehow... Get over it dude. Fuck.
