It is a problem on the system side, I was able to download the game when I purchased it, but for the updated version afterwards, I can't download it because the itch side won't let me activate the purchase.
You can download the updated version by logging in to your account and download from the Downloads page. Please contact itchio for problems such as not being able to access the download page
