Carmen Brittunculi is now working! It has taken longer than I expected.
I've tagged this latest version 0.14.0.
Making text adventures is harder than I thought. But I have managed to build one out of a minimal set of modern web technologies.
It's a Python game. Instructions for installation are on Github.
You should be able to play it on any platform; that means phones, tablets and PCs of every kind. Just now there is a display issue in Microsoft Edge, so please use a Chrome or Firefox browser instead.
If you don't feel like downloading and installing the game, you can play on the server at http://brittunculus.online.
Carmen remains a work in progress, but I'm finally happy to show it around. And it's Free Software; you can use it as the basis for your own project if you want.
