Generally no, but there are some factors at play:
- On itch.io: it won't directly affect your ranking, but it may indirectly hurt it if your changes affect the usability of the site. I don't think the changes you made will do that though.
- Regarding external search engines like Google: if you remove content from the page that would otherwise be used to help people find the page through search queries then you "may" (there are no certainties with Google) hurt how it ranks on a search engine results page. Once again, I don't think the change you made will really affect things. You did hide "More information" which could be a negative signal, but I wouldn't really worry about it.
