I've seen the progress on their Patreon site, so I'm sure the project is not abandoned and still in development.
The Demo here was very fun and nice to play.
Now let me tell you something:
1) No matter what, you are not able to win your first battle. It's part of the tutorial and you're bound to lose. I hate that in games, when it's scripted and you can't win but it is only my personal thought.
EDIT: I was wrong. I just actually managed to defeat first enemy but I was only so close from defeat ^^ So it is possible to win first fight but it is very difficult.
2) There's a bug in this demo when you go into the toilet in the gentleman's club and you are getting constant info about "failing to load .png". It is very disrupting gameplay so you should just never enter the toilet and you'll be fine.
Besides that, I haven't found any other bugs or bad things in the game ^^ Enjoy.
