I have a couple questions about the HoA magic system. Any help would be appreciated!

1.) In a spell's description, what does "level" indicate? For example, Tangle has "level 3" in its entry. Is that the highest level opponent the spell can effect?

2.) How does "size" affect an area effect spell such as Tremor? Tremor affects a 20x20 area with a size entry of medium. What is the medium referring to? An affected creature's size?

Hey Zimzerveran, both of your answers are correct.

1. Level is the highest level of Hero, NPC or Monster a spell can affect. Spell casters will need to charge a spell to affect higher level targets.

2, Size refers to the size of creature that can be affected so tremor can be cast but its affect will be limited to certain sized creatures unless the spell is charged.
