Heya Melancholy, just made this account to say I love your style of VNs! I really hope you get more credit in the future and I'm rooting for you from this point on! :)

P.S Have you ever considered putting some of your finished works on Steam? I would happily add your works to my VN collection :)) <3

Adding to Steam costs $100+ USD per game; unless 'Melanie' gets a lot of donations that is doubtful to happen.  If they want to start up a crowdfunding thing or something to make it happen then it is a possibility but according to them this has always been a passion project first rather than something to make a lot of money.

I know adding on Steam is a big thing for many and it is good for visibility, but that $100+ USD barrier is quite a bit.  I suppose that's what itch is for ;)

Hey hey :3 That's so sweet of you to take the time to do that and write such nice things <3 I appreciate your support and encouragement ^-^

Yeah, I did think about it a while ago, but as Daedalus has mentioned, that $100 fee to add a game to Steam is quite the killer >.< haha. I don't know if things have changed since I last looked into it, but in the past, I know they stated you could earn the fee back after making x number of sales profit or something, but, if a game is free, you're never gonna make that back :(

So yeah, again Daedalus is absolutely right x3 I would have to get a heck of a lot more donations to be able to afford to put any of my stuff on Steam pretty much. Because right now, what I've got needs to go towards funding stuff related to development. Every single penny I get goes into a pot to save for paying voice actors to voice characters and for artists to create CGs at the moment.

And I couldn't even attempt to run a Kickstarter to fund the project even if I wanted to because, due to my personal circumstance, I've been advised against it >.<

So yeah, Steam's $100 fee is indeed quite the barrier for folks who don't really have cash to spare. But, on the bright side, itch is a real lifesaver for us poor folks who can't afford anything else :3 I'm just glad that anyone manages to find my stuff on here at all, and even happier when I hear someone has enjoyed it ^-^
