I like your meter mixture using the oompa pattern of up notes on beats 2 and 3, while also using the 4/4 feel of emphasizing the backbeat with the jingle bells (another great staple of snowy areas). I like the combination of instruments you chose with the low plucky string, the pipe organ-y sounds, and the whistle and glockenspiel on top. They give the sense of a light-hearted occasion despite the minor key. I think the mixture also gives the sense of a variety of toppings you might find on your vanilla ice cream. Glad you like it! Indeed, I tried to make my instruments light - I originally had a Wagner tuba instead of the 'low plucky string' but it proved too heavy. The 'oompa pattern on beats 2 and 3' were the result of me taking inspiration from a 3/4 waltz, which inspired me to have a similar pattern - in 4/4 you can get away with any such thing!
