Soundalike's ARE copyrighted by the original artist (because of the melodies) just FYI I wouldn't use it in any kind of commercial application you could get sued (doesn't matter that whoever created the soundalike makes it under a royalty free license, they are still using a copyrighted theme or motif). It's the reason people can't say certain lyrics etc on youtube anymore (even humming).
