Hehe, yeah, can you tell I like dudes with purple hair xD I was actually gonna make Damme's hair like a dark navy sort of blue initially! But I ended up preferring the look of purple hair and magenta eyes x3

Yeah, no jumpscares, just some crazy creepy stuff, haha. I'm glad you actually like the troll ending cos I was wondering if maybe people would think it was too silly xD But I wanted there to be at least some kind of happy-ish ending for poor MC, haha. I think Aurora would've just cackled like a witch in the corner out of amusement while Damme scowls and swears under his breath xD I guess he could've made more effort to chase MC down! On any other day, he couldn't have cos it would've looked too suspicious, but on Halloween, he would've fit in quite well with that outfit, hehe.

Oh no, that would've been awful if your mental health had been badly impacted >.< I'm glad that wasn't the case because I would've felt so bad if you'd had a negative experience :(

Yeah, I wish it could have been longer too, and that I could've explained the story better because so much of what was in my head didn't make it into the game x3 I'm an idiot really for deciding to try and make 2 games this year instead of just focusing on 1! >.< haha.

I sort of felt bad for Damme too for most of the story, and I was initially writing him as a sorta tragic character that I hoped people would feel sympathy for, but then in the ending scene with Aurora, I probably made him quite unlikeable xD I know seeing that scene completed and hearing the voice acting, I didn't feel sorry for Damme anymore, haha. I was totally on Aurora's side :P but I quite liked that because at the end of the day, yeah, maybe Damme deserves a small amount of sympathy, but really everything was his fault x3 so he almost kinda deserved everything that happened >.< haha.

As you say, he was greedy and selfish. Sure, he had no way of knowing what would happen when he wished for the money, but he should've known better than to trust Schrat a second and a third time xD And besides, I don't think that being scared of losing someone you love is a good enough excuse to ask for magical aid to basically force them to marry you, haha. That's just plain wrong and Damme deserves a slap for that x3 If he truly loved Morgen, he should have told her that and let her make the choice herself without Schrat's interference. What Damme did was out of fear, not love I guess >.< Which does make me feel a little bit sorry for him again x3 But still!

Yeah, I don't know how Damme was ever expecting Morgen to be anything other than terrified at seeing him in the bloodbath xD

I was a little worried with Morgen that she might turn out too much like a regular otome heroine with amnesia who doesn't really do anything or stand up for herself >.< so I wanted to at least make her feisty and show that she wasn't the type to back down in the past before everything went to shit, haha. Sometimes I feel like she was a little bit harsh on Damme before all the crazy stuff! Like you could tell they were good friends, but that maybe Damme always liked her more than she liked him, haha.

And yeah, you're right about the line from Morgen's thoughts where she says that before she could actually answer properly, her lips moved to say yes. I put it that way so that it was up to the player to decide whether they think Morgen would've actually said yes or not :P I didn't want to say one way or another whether Morgen truly loved him or not x3 It's up for debate, haha.

And yeah, if she didn't, and she wouldn't have said yes to marrying him, then that means Damme pretty much forced her into it, which makes him a terrible person x3

And yeah, I wanted Aurora to come across as kind but conflicted towards MC, and extremely bitter towards Damme, so I'm glad you could still see that she didn't really want to hurt MC. She just couldn't see any other way out of the situation. I would have liked to possibly have another ending that was more like a revenge sorta ending where Aurora has a proper victory over Damme, but A: There wasn't time to write many endings, and B: I kinda wanna save a revenge-style story for them when they eventually make it into Darling Duality x3

I think Aurora certainly would've done something cheeky to stop Damme from pursuing the player in the troll ending, yeah xD Cos she didn't want what Damme wanted to do anyways. She probably would've just found it funny that Damme didn't get his own way :P

But yeah, I like to think that Aurora was sweet enough to Damme a long time ago for him to let his guard down around her so that she could gradually get a little bit more freedom in his presence, enough to build up memories and knowledge, and enough to get comfortable with him to the point that they just become like a bitter old married couple xD

So glad you like the music as well! I had a lot of fun making the soundtrack ^-^ I had to eventually tell myself to stop making more tracks cos I just wanted to keep going, but I thought, no, I can't, I already have enough and there's no time left to be spending on any more music or we won't finish the game by the deadline of the jam, haha.

You can't call yourself lazy when you put so much time and effort into writing this comment x3 I do the same though with games :3 Games are one of the best ways to escape reality :D I don't know what I would have done in my life without them. Even when I was a kid at school, video games were my refuge from how crap school life was >.< It at least meant that I could have some good times when I got home by completely escaping into a fantasy world :3

And no worries, I'm just glad you enjoyed the other game as well :D I feel like maybe some people will see the twist coming, but hopefully not too many people, haha. My brother doesn't like the twist xD He says it's one of the crappiest ones, haha.
