Reporting this game as a scam on kickstarter

Dear developer, I am mad and disappointed at you. There is barely any communication. I honestly think this is all a scam. You say you're working on the game but where's the proof? There is no proof at all. Not to mention we've been waiting for a long amount of time + people payed you more than $11K to work on this game. It's a shame. I want the backers to get their money back because they deserved it. If you're not going to post updates and be dead silent for a long amount of time then you don't deserve the money. I suggest everyone go report this game to kickstarter as well and help the backers get their money back. I'm done waiting fornothing.

To be honest I feel this project had garnered one of the most patient fan bases. Even if the developer were scared to post until recently they'd likely be met with minimal hostility. And even if that hostility came there would be others jumping to their defense as they do here in this little discussion forum.

I remember they've been online before on Lemmasoft within the past month or two. They're blatantly ignoring this project and scam or not it's really shady and disrespectful that they won't even make a one or two sentence post.

Any warnings about potential struggles with personal issues or commitment should have been put in the risk section of the KS.

I doubt they will return any money but their reputation under the name they are using (Lee Almonte/Agashi) is done for. They've ruined trust not by failing to finish the project, but due to their lack of transparency.

As a backer, I am disappointed there hasn't been a response recently (I am also one of the ones that has posted on the Kick Starter asking for an update).  But I think it is a bit rude to call it a, "scam".

I think clear work has been put into it, and was put into it up until 2017 - there were the issues with the artists and sprites that caused some delays.  And clearly some personal issues from this post.  Things were clearly slowing down in 2017 and came to a halt in 2018.  ...I think the project would have benefited from some clarity about what was going on, certainly.  And definitely WILL be needed if Lee is going to continue.

Do I want an update?  Yes.  Do we need regular updates/check-ins?  Yes.  Am I disappointed with the delay?  Yes.  Do I think this was an elaborate scam?  No.
