If more games could achieve even a fraction of the emotion in this, the world would be a better place. I applaud you and hope that you will continue to make games like this.
Gameplay-wise, my only suggestion is to pause at the end of the scenes so that the player has time to take everything in (e.g., read the text, see the details in the scene), as I missed a couple of things my first time through.
