I made these ninja bots this only my first design there I will be updating them

Hey ik this is a year old but I was wondering if you could let me know, what do you use to make these models

Sorry for the late response!
I'm aliiiiiiiiiive~! Mwahahahaha! =w=
this is my first time getting on since I last posted, so this will be super duper interestiiiiiing....
My more recent voxel models have been created in Qubicle, a professional program that allows for manipulation of individual parts and such....  However, I started out by using Magickavoxel! Magickavoxel is a free piece of software that allows simple editing of a single voxel model. (A link can be found here!) Magicavoxel usually won't be able to produce a polished model well on its own, though. To that end, I use Blender, a piece of free 3D modelling software (Available here!) Blender can be super duper intimidating to work with at first, but it is an extremely popular application, and many tutorials can be found for it on Youtube and the like.  You can export pieces of your model one at a time from Magickavoxel into blender, and then manipulate or resize them independently.

Best of luck with all of your modelling efforts~!
(A little tip for creating models: try to keep an eye on the original style if you create fan-models for Clone Drone. Many people create voxel models that are round, large, and curvy, but Doborog has opted for a very angular, simple style. If you keep that in mind, I'm sure you'll be creating amazing fan models in no tiiime~!)

Again I am really late lol but thank you

No problem, and no worries~!
(I don't know if you've noticed. But I have uploaded nothing for a very, very long time. You needn't be worried about being late.)

I'm back, you beautiful ladies and gentlemen (and any other things)~!

It's been a long, long while, and I'm only just getting used to the new changes that have been added to Clone Drone.  I don't know how often I'm going to visit the forum, and I especially don't know how often I'll be creating new voxel models... But it's really, really great to be back! It's fantastic to play the game again and see all of the changes that've been made.

Anyways, I'm excited to work with all of you again, and I hope I can continue to satisfy and impress! Have a great day, everyone~!

Woo hoo, the CDitDZ forums are less of a barren wasteland now!

yeahh~! owo
Just a little, bitty tiny biiitt...! owo"

Hooray! I recreated the human!

This is beautiful! I really like the subtle metallic gloss on the body~
If working in blender, magickavoxel or qubicle, you should look into using emissives for the eyes-- it can help you get that glowing look used by the in-game enemies! :3

Well actually I did...

I also have a question:

Why do robots have such long arms? (if they would be 1 voxel shorter they would be kinda proportional)Was it already in concept or is it because of needed sword hit range?

I have absolutely no idea for what reason the arms are so long. :3
I would imagine it was predominantly a design choice, but it may also indeed help with sword range!

The SWAT(i guess) robot

SWAT robot (I guess)

Has laser bat which works like sword. Has shield. Can kick. Can use jetpack, but flies slowly due to his weight Possibly tough to kill due to heavy armour.

shield can rotate

this bot is gorgeous, it fits in so well with the game style, and still looks vastly different! You should make sure to post it to the Steam community page as well (if you're involved in the Clone Drone Steam community), there are a lot of lovely people there who are sure to adore this! :3

Thx a lot for a reply :D
