It isn’t a VN, but the player-character is nobility/royalty in the ChoiceScript interactive novel “Arcadie: Second-Born”. It’s very well-written and has medieval flavor to it. The author is very active on Tumblr and they recently submitted the game for publication. While the full game isn’t out yet, the demo is available to play through the Choice of Games Forum or link on the author’s Tumblr.
