Mobile/tablet port?

Hiyas :)

First the important thing. Game is a lot of fun so far. Haven't donated yet but I would buy it if it was on steam (once it has more content hehe) and if it never comes to steam I'll donate one day since by then I'll prolly have at least 10-20-30 hours played I hope :)

But that got me thinking while at work... This game would do good as a mobile port too IMHO. It wouldn't even need a lot of changes. Instead of the current keybinds just a few buttons somewhere on the screen for crafting, opening inventory, clearing hands and so on. Prolly map scroll on "left mouse" down. Just not sure about dropping with right click and how that could be solved intuitively on a table. On work benches it could be something as easy as making it so left click always tries to put stuff in if you have it in hand. But dropping on the ground would prolly be weird if you always drop when you click. Or if you get a dialogue if you try to click the ground every time with something in hand. Maybe a "drop" toggle button? *shrug*

Anyway... like the game and gl with it. Hope to see a lot more done with it in the coming months :)

Developer

Thanks!

We've not put any thought into a mobile version. Some UI might be a bit tricky. Also, being made in Unity, and having so many objects in the world, it may not perform very well. In any case we'll put some thought into this further down the track when the game is starting to settle down.

It's no biggie :) But you know... people would prolly pay 2-3-5$ for a game like this on mobile once it's done :) I just like automation games so I want them to "make it" "out there" :)

a downgrade of the lighting and texture quality may have a significant impact on the games preformance. In my opinion it’s very possible.

Would definitely say this would be great on mobile/tablet to me autonauts is a game i like to go back to every now and again to add things and make more, exactly the type of game for mobile
