Hey there! I just found your game today and thought I'd start digging into it! I feel like I've only just scratched the surface, but I hope you find the ongoing series useful, I'll be doing mt best to provide stream of consciousness feedback as I play and pointing out any perceived flaws. So far it seems really well optimized and the scale is impressive, the visuals are nice and have their own style, but the coastline is a little barren and the animations aren't fantastic. Not a huge deal on those last two though. Looking forward to more!

Thanks CoalFire! I just watch the whole video, it was great and I appreciate the feedback. I was waiting for you to finally realize the big hemp trees provide hemp also :D  Drinking from the "tree" is just a little bug that happens when you are close to the shore on ground that is almost the same elevation as sea level. Normally you have to be looking at the water and standing right by it to drink.

The loading from a save locking up at 40% is a known issue from the last update. I'm frantically trying to fix it right now but it is being evasive. It never happens in when I playtest through the UE4 editor/engine but it always happens in the packaged/distributed build... I'll figure it out sooner or later. However, it will load eventually, it just might take 5 mins or more based on feedback. Loading usually takes 15-30 seconds on my rig but it takes about 3-4 mins now. Hopefully I'll have a fix out soon. Thanks again for playtesting and making a video. If you want any tips to help gameplay for your videos let me know. Since it's still in development it can be a grueling walking simulator at times when you don't know where to go to find things like the dragon egg.

Any kind of general "good to know" kind of stuff might be helpful, but at the same time it may be detrimental to my raw blind feedback. Maybe if I get to a point where I don't know how to progress, I'll ask :)

Checking the key binds will help for things like toggling the HUD elements and other stuff that might not be so obvious at first and also reading the entire journal. I won't give anything away that isn't already there unless you ask. Thanks again and I really appreciate the videos and feedback

So I'm a little further in and starting to experience a little more of the combat and I'm not sure how I feel about the whole flow and cycle of the progression into better weapons. First off, I can't for the life of me find any bamboo, so I feel lucky to have found a spear. Gathering feathers for arrows seems like a lot more trouble than it's worth due to the damage I've taken to get a hold of only six feathers, and on top of all that only being able to make one arrow at a time for that much effort feels really discouraging. I'm still having a good time overall, but it all feels like a lot of work for little payoff, and certain resources are damn hard to come by so early on. Hope this is all useful!

Grabbed this game a few months ago then got busy and forgot about it but SO glad i saw it again to finally get moving on a showcase :) Yes i am late to the party but better late than never lol

When I launch the game, the screen just is a black window. I can't close the window or even move it to a different screen. Can someone help me out?
