Please let me know about any bugs or errors you come across while playing. I can’t promise a quick fix but this will help me keep track of them :) 

The more detail you can provide on the steps leading up to the problem the better, also please let me know which platform you are playing on (browser, windows, mac, linux).

Hey, I love the game but for some odd reason it spike lags at some points. Is there a fix around for this?

I'm aware that there are quite a few lag problems with the game, is the with the windows/mac version or the browser version?

I'd really like to try and fix the lagging problems, but I think I'll need to do a big system overhaul to fix that and I'm concentrating on adding new levels at the moment. I might have another look at it and see if there is an obvious problem I was missing last time I looked into it. 

In the mean time, I think the browser version doesn't have as many lagging problems as the desktop version, so if you were playing the desktop version I'd recommend you play the browser version for now :)

Yeah exactly it was for the windows version, I tried the browser and it was better for me.Cant wait for the updated version but take your time, the game is actually super satisfying to play!

Not really a bug, but I wanted to import someone else's level but it says "Level Number Too High", what does this mean?

Ah thanks for asking, so "Level Number Too High" means you haven't unlocked the level that they have made the beat for yet. 

If you play through the first 2 levels you should be able to play anything someone has made in the demo version. (finishing level 2 unlocks level 3 - the last demo level)

Does that make sense?

I noticed that sometimes in the Random Beat levels, one of the instruments would be under the Exit Room button with no way to click it.

Hi thank you for letting me know! The random beat part is still kind of experimental at the moment, I'll try and fix that when I look at improving the random beat mode again.

I found an issue where if you record the same note twice at the same time point in the same instrument in two loops the level becomes kind of impossible to beat. I encountered this when recording a beat where it felt natural to play the ending beat that also happened to be the starting beat of the next loop

Here's a minimal example:

Hi thanks for such a clear and detailed explanation of the problem! :)

I've been doing a lot of work on the beatmaker recently and I think that this problem is already partly solved in the development version when making beats. (It doesn't allow you to place two notes too close together) although the problem with the random beats still exists. I'll try to take another look at that before the uploading next update.

I'm holding off on updating the game for a while as I still need to round a few things off before it's ready for people to use, so it might be a while before you can try out the changes.

On the second level, the instrument all the way to the right (bass I guess?) is not visible on a 5:4 monitor, and the mouse can't access it - so the level cannot be passed. I could only see the instrument on game screenshots here. Generally, the game is a little cut off at the sides on a 5:4 monitor. This is on Linux by the way, in case you can't reproduce the bug on another platform.

Hi thanks for letting me know. I'm sorry you ran into that problem.

I've had reports about other screen ratios where some levels become impassible (e.g. 3:2 monitors). So I'm planning to do some thorough testing of various screen ratios and trying to fix all those problems. Hopefully I'll be able to do that before the next update.
