Soooooo, about this game. ( Buyer Beware )I’ll go through pro’s and con’s
Pro’s
-more naked ladies than you could ever want
-mostly decent frame rate
-ok climbing mechanic
- refreshing ideas (all of BrittanyFactory games)
CONS
- nothing to do other than stare
(Generally fine, but compared to other games operating with even just one developer, there is so much more for a better price)
- All the items and models have god awful physics
( the trailers even showcase how unusable most of the models are)
- misleading thumbnails
( most of BrittanyFactory games have very high polished thumbnails that have zero to do with the actual game)
- All BrittanyFactory games are almost the exact same with extreme price fluctuations
( seriously? $200 for the bundle of games but in reality it’s the same game but different maps with the occasional break away including different items. Kinda gives scammy vibes )
- there really is no sex.
( just models awkwardly bumping into each other)
- no penetration
( not that big of a deal, but I know some people will buy this thinking they are picking up a cheaper version of CaptainHardcore)
- *unsettling music
( a common theme in BrittanyFactory’s games. )
- sound design is terrible
- poor optimization
[ *This just isn’t my type of music. I do enjoy techno but some of the music throughout the game borders on avant-garde style sounds and voices with minimal techno influences that kind of killed the minimal experience ]
I don’t want this to come across as scathing or bashing BrittanyFactory’s games, if this game and others by BF are your jam well than, as much power to you as possible. What I want people (and the dev) to understand is that this and the myriad of other games are not as content heavy and interactive as led on by the developer. These are a far cry from some of the descriptions I’ve read about these games. The only huge gripe I have is, the potential for these games to be great, I know BF patches a lot of games and continuously works hard which I respect greatly, the thing that bothers me are how the games are advertised. It seems like it offers so much but that is not the case. The fact the creator releases so many of these unity rooms with base resources and awkward models with awful physics, for such bizarre prices, games can range from 4 bucks to $20 with no real content to be provided for this style of game. The $200 bundle seems to be more like a slap in the face and a bit money hungry to put out such lackluster games with almost no content. The titles, price, and locations change but every problem is still there. Unnerving locations, unnerving music, terrible physics and models, nothing to do. These ComeCloser clones are a far cry from what erotic Oculus Quest games are. The Webxr free games blow these (and the whole bundle) out of the water, all the while, remaining free. I will update a review if there could be something a little more content heavy rather than basic models smashing together.
