You can contact real people to see your work for themselves. That’s what is generally done and it certainly increases your chances
I agree with Mid here a lot. I don’t know what is “a lot” for you guys, but my games were played around 100 times and half of it was friends, colleagues from university or family I directly sent the links to to show them what I created.
I’m happy for people playing my games no matter how many, because I mainly created them for myself. And you should honestly do, too. Appreciate your own work before expecting others to do that. It’s difficult, it feels off at times, but if you don’t love your work, no one else can.
