.. Meanwhile, he was just leaning against the kitchen door, looking towards the ground as.. he felt his heart.. hurt, she really meant everything to him, and.. to see that he possibly would never be able to do what he wished he could.. almost broke him.

Little later/time skip
It was about 6 pm and she was walking down the hall heading to the staff room cause she needed a meeting to happen so she head there and since she called everyone in after she got there and sat in her chair, wait for everyone as she did the work, when she wasn't writing anything down she was bitting the back/top of the pen in anxiousness.
.. Of course, since he was the closest “to” the room. He was there first, normally he would sit right next to her, as per usual, but.. okay, I can’tttt! He walked into the room, and while sure, he still felt, honestly terrible about asking, or at least hinting to it, he still sat beside her, placing down his laptop, journal, and his fancy lil pen. -v -
:”Ah, lo siento mamá, solo estoy saliendo con uno de mis amigos, Âżconoces a Micheal? SĂ, estábamos pasando el rato ... erm-, "en algĂşn lugar", (Oh, I'm sorry mom, I'm just dating one of my friends, do you know Micheal? Yes, we were hanging out ... erm-, "somewhere")

"Fechado? Qué? No me dijiste eso, damen... puedes quedarte un poco más, pero si llegas demasiado tarde, estás castigado." ("Dated? What? You didn't tell me that, damen ... you can stay a bit longer, but if you're too late, you're grounded. ")
She then hung up and saw Marco (another worker)
"Oh, Hey Marco!"
She smiled.
"No, its alright! Your fine.."
She smiled and grabbed her chapstick and her small mirror and started putting just a bit of small makeup on.

She just waited for more people to come, the air was quiet and usually they would be talking but she didn't feel like talking, especially not with the guy who told her/hinted how he felt about her then the next minute act like he didn't do a thing, she was so happy he finally made the move but once he did, he looked the other way.
.. But, then she felt a slight, idk, “tap” on her shoulder, it felt oddly like “his” touch, since well.. it did come from where he was speaking, but before she could really turn around, she heard him whispering to her.
“.. Listen, im.. sorry about earlier.. I’ll explain everything once.. t-the meeting is done, it wasn’t you, I was just.. c-confused..-“

She honestly didn't care she just laid her head down, she was still hungry but she again didn't feel like eating, Amanda and the other finally came in and she waited till everybody came for the meeting. Once everyone showed up her look on her face was stern and bold, seems like (not bc of him, just bc she didn't eat) someone was crankyyyy-.
"Listen alright, Amilo (a buisness man/ ex-husband) called me earlier telling me that the man were trying to get is going to a masquerade party in a few days and I was thinking we could go so everybody....make sure to get beautiful dresses, better suits, and masks."
