The prince was exploring the woods with his servant-they were pretty far from his home kingdom, but he enjoyed adventuring, and there had been rumors of strange doings that he wanted to investigate. Plus, being the prince meant that he still didn't really have to deal with the affairs of the kingdom, so he could still kinda goof off.
