“H-Hey dude! Are you alright-!? What are you doing out here in the beach, you’ll get a beat stroke if you just lie here!!”

Denki quite quickly lifted deku up onto his feet, and placed his arm around his neck, just holding him up.

He sighed a bit in relief, leaning into Denki a bit. He smiled gratefully up at him.

“-sigh/, M-Man, sorry. I just hate seeing people put themselves in such a predicament, say. What’s your name? I’d like to know it-!”

'Deku!' he tried to say-but of course, nothing came out. He deflated, face falling.

“..Hmm?.. Ohhhhh, can you not speak? Or, are you just uncomfortable “with” speaking?”

well, at least he kinda caught on quickly-

He put a hand to his throat, telling Denki that he couldn't talk. He looked away, sadly.

“…Ohhh, well. That’s nothing to worry about! I’ll just call youuuu… broccoli! I’m denki, lovely to meet you!”

He huffed, glaring up at him-Broccoli!?
