But Virgil wasn't there-Dee's heartrate spiked-had he left for the night? That's when he saw a small figure in an alleyway three larger figures surrounding them. He crept closer and peered around the corner to see three tall men surrounding his darling Virgil, striking him and pulling at his satchel
"N-Nh...-"
He crumpled to the ground on his side, gasping softly in pain, hand over his stomach, watching as his own crimson blood leaking in between his fingers. He smirked a little
"I-I knew you liked me.....y-you....you waited too late though....."
His face scrunched up as a new bolt of pain jolted through his body. He reached for Dee's hand
"N-Nh....m-maybe....maybe in another lifetime...."
