Of (very) minor things:

  • I might suggest to move health to the bottom of the screen - right now there is usually no time to look all the way up to see if you can take one more hit or no.
  • Boss healthbar is not really clear as boss healthbar :) Maybe make it red and move a bit higher?
  • The music is really nice, but Boss music doesn’t loop. It just stops abruptly and resets to “normal music”. Breaks the heat of the moment a bit.

That's all valid criticism, I'll take that all into consideration when I make my next game.
Also, the boss music doesn't loop? I thought it did?
Just played it again it does loop. (I'll admit, there is a short blip between the loop, but after that, it's the boss music again.)
Maybe you encountered some rare bug, but I don't think my code would allow for the music track to revert back mid-run unless you really broke it.

I believe it happened to me like 5 or 6 times - seems like every time I survived long enough during the boss fight. Maybe that “short blip” indeed got my ear off?
