Eventually got to this game again, finally managed to win :D Took quite a lot of skill - I hate those violet bullets :) Cool, fun experience… those patterns are… mesmerizing :)

And yeah, you might guess which game inspired my submission, come to think of it, even the name :)…

Of (very) minor things:

I might suggest to move health to the bottom of the screen - right now there is usually no time to look all the way up to see if you can take one more hit or no.
Boss healthbar is not really clear as boss healthbar :) Maybe make it red and move a bit higher?
The music is really nice, but Boss music doesn’t loop. It just stops abruptly and resets to “normal music”. Breaks the heat of the moment a bit.

That's all valid criticism, I'll take that all into consideration when I make my next game.
Also, the boss music doesn't loop? I thought it did?
Just played it again it does loop. (I'll admit, there is a short blip between the loop, but after that, it's the boss music again.)
Maybe you encountered some rare bug, but I don't think my code would allow for the music track to revert back mid-run unless you really broke it.

I believe it happened to me like 5 or 6 times - seems like every time I survived long enough during the boss fight. Maybe that “short blip” indeed got my ear off?
