There's an area in my UI where I need to fit a lot of text into a not-so-wide area.

I'd like to do what some games do for this situation: have text that scrolls horizontally.

Something like this for example, but ideally with a pause at the start like most games do:

I'm sorry, Super Text Mesh doesn't feature anything like a marquee. if you're using STM with Unity UI, putting it inside of a mask and setting up an animator/script to scroll the text should give the effect you're after!
