The difference between futa and herma, at least in my game, is that futanari characters won't have testicles, and characters creatures have testicles.
But for both cases (futa, herma), the characters have a dick, vagina, tits, and anus.
Well, if I was making my game worring about people who don't like some points, and adding exceptions for everyone, I will be working forever without advancing, that's why, sometimes, I make pulls for the guys are supporting my game, and I let them choose from some options.
Is not that simple. Making exceptions brings more side work; an example, if I made a new scene for the centaur where she is fucking with her dick. That scene won't be able for the guys who don't have the dick activated, and then those guys will be angry because I made a scene they can't play, and they will be requesting a new scene for the centaur without dick.
That means weeks of extra work, so no thanks; I preffer to only have one centaur model. I was just like you in the past, but when I created the option to swap the Rin or Rex genders, I noticed how hard is to work like that.
Also, if something like that was optional, you can be sure, there will be other players requesting to have their centaur with only male body (no tits, no vagina).
No offense but I see why you get so much hate. Most other popular devs that make futa content like WVM or OnemanVN have two separate models, because it makes sense. The game is primarily focused on straight sex, so unlike a male body which doesn't make sense this does. Its whatever though, enjoy the 1 star
