He went deep into the kelp forest and found...the ruined wreckage of a sunken ship
"...Another one of these ships, ay? Might as well check it out...I really need to apologize to Ezra..."
He went into the ship-and found Ezra curled up in a ball asleep amongst the wreckage
"...E-Ezra...T-Thank god you-!...Oh, y-your asleep...well, m-makes sense..."
His sweet, angelic little face was tear stained, curled up in a ball in the fetal position with his tail wrapped around himself for protection and warmth and it broke Atlas's heart.
"Y-You poor t-thing...y-you must've stayed here the entire n-night..."
He gently placed what he held onto the ground...and swam over to Ezra...sat down next to him...laid behind him..and gently wrapped an arm around him-
"Mn..."
He turned and cuddled into Atlas, hiding his face in his chest
