"Oh reeeeeally, just an experiment?"

She let out a strangled cry of protest as her eyes fluttered open, running her diagnostics scan

???: "mhm-I was curious to see how the chip affected her nerves, since the base of the spine is where much of our nerves congregate before sending messages to our brain. I wondered if it was possible that the chip somehow kept her from experiencing some pains due to blocking them off-the temporary shock to Ms. Linh's system must've caused her body to reset itself."

the little orange light flickered in the corner of Cinder's vision-he was lying.

"I've designed cyborgs Sir, and coming from her vision, i can tell your lying your ass off...the truth...now"

She blinked rapidly-she hadn't been aware that other people could see the lights that appeared in her vision-

???: "I...can't tell you. At the very least, not until I know more. If my theory is correct, then it is far safer for the time being for you not to know-"

"Right, well i better get answers soon..."

He nodded

???: "I'll provide them as soon as I can..."

"....Hey Cinder...are you alright?"

he waved his hands slightly in her face

"Ng-yeah...yeah I'm fine...."

"Good...is your vision blurry...? or anything of the sort?"

She shook her head

"N-No, no...i-it's passing now..."
