The .dmg itself should mount without problems. OSX security settings will try to block the opening of the .app because it's "downloaded from the internet", but you can bypass this by command-clicking the .app and selecting "open" from the menu. Then select "open" again from the popup window.
I've tested this just now on OSX 10.13.4 and it works for me.
