Some thoughts from a DM

1. Is there any chance we could get the option to change the color of label text, specifically for the character tiles? The red is hard to read unless you zoom in REALLY close.  2. Stretching here, but any chance of enabling a multi-player type feature similar to Owlbear Rodeo where players could move their own sprites? 2a. Maybe I just don't get  how it works, and if that's the case a tutorial would be great, but is there a fog of war option? Just something the DM reveals would be plenty, or maybe an overlay where placing light sources would reveal the map? 3. Enemy tiles, but I already added to the thread elsewhere. 4. The ability to save maps as some sort of image file would be nice so that I could send maps to players for things like player-owned buildings (safe houses, etc.). 5. This one is a big ask, but worth a shot - any chance you could move imported images to the background layer? I've imported pre-printed map images from D&D Beyond and, with a bit of struggle but it's not impossible, lined them up with the grid to use. However, other than the character tiles, light sources, text and ruler, nothing else shows up when I try to place it on the image.

You've got a great easy to use map here and I'd love to see it go further. And 'free' (I donated :) keep making it awesomer)? I mean, seriously awesome.

4. The button to the left of examples lets you export the map as an image, this can also solve most of your other problems.

5. Click on the imported image then set "location" to "background" and you can have it be below walls and such.

I'm pretty sure this is not designed to be a virtual table top like you seem to want. Instead it's supposed to be a map editor that you can use to create a map for use with a proper VTT like Roll20 or Foundry. Both of those programs solve your issues: multi player, fog of war/line of sight and dynamic lighting, import custom images for backgrounds.

The export current map as an image file button is in the top left next to the save buttons.
