Aro: Augh-! -he sat up only to his horse leaving- nononono! -he quickly stood up-

The horse was gone...and looking back behind him he could barely even tell what was the path and what wasn't. He was completely lost. There was no choice...he had to just keep going, and hope it didn't get too dark

Aro: . . shit. -he gently brushed himself off and hesitantly walked onward-

He trudged on, sun setting slowly as he walked. Just as he was starting to see the first hint of stars in the sky, the path opened up onto a clearing. There was a large, crystal blue lake, water strangely still. It was peaceful...calming, despite his circumstances.

Aro: . . -he looked around a bit checking for anything unsafe before sitting down beside the lake.-

He saw a small blob of white a ways off in the lake, floating in his direction towards the shore. As it got closer, he saw it was a swan.

Aro: uh- -he slowly scooched back a bit unknowing if the swan was there to make him leave or not-

The sun started to sink below the treeline and the swan started trying to swim faster, getting closer to the shore-the sun set...and the swan transformed

"Oh heck...I wish swan legs weren't so stubby..."

He sighed and started wading out of the water, soaking wet

Aro: -he opened his mouth for a second but he had nothing to say- brain: what?-

He looked over and saw Aro. His eyes widened and he froze up like a deer in headlights

"Hf-"
