It's impossible to please em all and stick to your ideals, and there are many unforseen (but realistic) consequences to your socialist choice. Very cool game, would be a great educational tool!

You would need to be a special type of stupid to not see this as propaganda. The game is so poor that the complaints are that's it's actually racist. I think this is something evil rich racist people at the top want for us.

Yeah let's just send blacks to shittier schools to make them safe. I'm such a square brain. More like I like to think all humans are humans. And I'm not a racist. And I don't want to burn down our society that we build. Y'all got some big brain thoughts here.

(+4)(-1)

I, uh, don't think that's in the game lmao?

What do you mean this is "not propaganda"? Propaganda is anything designed to promote a certian political view. From the actual description of the game:

>It is meant to entertain, enrage, provoke socialist-curious players as well as comrades on the front lines of the political revolution.

It's literally a game made to promote socialism. It's propaganda by definition.

(+8)(-5)

The thing is, there are lot of other countries that definitely has different thinking and view. In U.S, you guys will call it propaganda, but in other countries some might see it as an insight in future politic, a mockery on political sosialis system or atleast a sneak peak how to be a good leader. Just because you guys have the big picture on politics doesn't mean you guys are right. Hell, if you don't like the game because of political representation of your country, then no need to say it is a blatant propaganda in the comment section where ALMOST everyone from other countries that has internet can see it and make them doubtful toward your country and it's people.(I mean, with the recent thing Trump has done and anti-masker keep stating wearing mask is communist, I don't think the current political system are any better.) Just delete the game and continue your day with other games that doesn't contain politics that agaisnt your view. Even better, just take what isn good from the game and discard whatever that is bad by your point view. End of the story.

You generally find propaganda is funded by states, not indie devs

(+7)(-33)

Wrong, propaganda can take place when another country's people come over to a different country trying to influence  the people. They do this by taking over the school boards and teaching them communist philosophy is all throughout college. A quarter of all social science college teachers are communist. Probably is how this game got made. So no, propaganda can be made by independent people all working together as a cause to push communism.

I'm almost twice your age, but this reply felt appropriate.

>A quarter of all social science teachers are communists
Damn wonder if it's because they think it has merit and they don't need an evil plan to be convinced of it. Isn't it also propaganda if kids are told that capitalism is great and awesome like they do in schools already? How is teaching people about your political opinions some evil propaganda scheme.

(+9)

It's worth noting that being propaganda by definition doesn't automatically make something evil. Propaganda is anything intended to sway someone's opinion to support a cause. Every political campaign ever is, by definition, propaganda, as are the actions of any religious person trying to convince anyone that their beliefs are right. It doesn't have to be a conspiracy or a scheme or use manipulative or dishonest methods to get the point across. It just needs that intent to sway the opinion of those it reaches.

(+6)

The part where "Half of the teachers are communist" i need to see an statistic proving that, otherwhise it's conspiranoic bullshit. But, the thing that propaganda can be done by independent people is right. I can do a game/movie/story with the intention of promoting my political ideas and, even if it's not a big budget thing, it still is propaganda.

The irony in practicing capitalism by selling a game you created promoting communism (or "democratic socialism", as you put it)
