Randomized open world pirate simulator action adventure? This game is surprisingly good, only held back by its equally surprising amount of random bugs and performance issues. You are a pirate captain, that got kicked off his ship and now explores the seven seas to gather the strength to recapture his trusty ship. The game has tons of secrets, lots of loot, ship combat, crew recruting and some intriguing side mechanics that are cool to explore. Its rather rare that an open world game like this entices you to explore every nook and cranny like this. People complain about dying easily, but the “easy” mode should help you plenty with that and once you overcome the first 15 minutes of fumbling with the controls, this was quite the addicting little adventure. I really like it, bugs and all. 4/5
