Today I uploaded a new version for my game https://imgalone.itch.io/solum-cosmonauter

It is stuck with a "Loading game for the first time..." message.

It's loading for me! Probably took a while to unpack.

Thanks for the reply. It worked in the end and I believe the cause to be the way I archived the files - I used 7zip and as archiving method I used BZip2; after changing the method to "deflate" it seemed to get back on track...
