It was interesting to see an engine I don't recognize for this game. It seems to work pretty well at least. Some feedback tho:
- The movement and jumping feel loose which in the few platforming sections makes it a little weird to traverse due to the massive momentum you keep without much control. Especially in relation to your movement speed.
- The shrink mechanic is interesting, though not really used as a shrink and more so as a "invincibility" to the enemies in the game and a bit of an advantage for avoiding the painful rollers.
- That brings me to the rollers which are incredibly fast essentially only avoidable by what seems to be cheating around them. And, normally I don't mention sound etc. cause I don't know them, but, the sound... Was grating on my ears near painful. I'm not sure why a sound like that was picked but... please change it.
- "Stealth" seems to have been attempted? Though it seems to essentially boil down to "be small, be invincible" since the "red guys" which seem to kill you on site, even though they pathfind to you, can't hurt you when you're small. There's also instances where just being near a wall seemed to have a "red guy" hit me through said wall and cause another retry. Which got... very annoying.
- No tutorial heavily hurts this game, since the "red guy" is not explained, as well as the goal of the level is not explained. At the very least the hotkeys are shown but other than that it's unexplained mechanics and generally infuriating stealth...
