In the same place you find Froslass you can find sparkling stones! Those are mining spots. Different colors have different pools, indicated by both the color and the flavor text when you interact with them: "A shimmering stone caught your eye!..."
do those respawn?
yes they do! each time you heal at a center
I found that every time I exit and enter the mine, they will respawn.(DO NOT need heal)in 2.11c
