This seems potentially great but suffers badly from vibe coding.  I bought two horses; tutorial wants me to buy a horse and doesn't recognize that I've done that; I can't buy another horse because I'm a peon; I sell one horse and buy it back (at a loss); the tutorial is satisfied but my rebought horse never shows up again.  Many things like that.  Bad case of AI UI -- menus full of information but not rationally designed; flow from one choice to another or going back all messed up.

Could be great.  Hope someone makes it so.

Hey thanks for the feedback!

Haha horses are a particular pain point because of needing to mount them, and then they don't show in trade UI. I think what I'll do is have them show up and just say mounted.

I'm thinking about greatly reducing tutorial and putting most of that in story mode if you've tried that yet.

UI is mostly my fault rather than ai haha still early early early access for sure. I've started polishing it but haven't patched it here yet.

I have a huge patch that I'll put here in a few weeks with a big graphics update and many fixes.

I plan on updating the game about once a month here.

Give it a month or two and give it another try.

Thanks for trying it!

Cool -- if you get it playable I'll probably play it a lot!

There seemed to be a lot of scrumble around horses, inventory and capacity.  I thought I had figured out the mounting business but had a horse disappear when I unmounted it.  When I bought a cart it threw my pack away -- why would I do that?  Also in the trading screen if you select one of the greater numbers like 10 and want to hit it four times because the quest wants 40, it pops back to 1 every time you hit Buy -- leading to confusion and odd numbers.

Awesome! Id love if I got it to where it was more enjoyable for people to play.

I've had this idea for a decade and ai definitely made it easier to code.

Thanks for more of the feedback.

Yes I'm going to focus on fixing bugs the rest of this month, and then probably work on improving the UI mid to late June.

Also, if you enjoy testing games, I get testers on play2review, so if you join there let me know and I'll pick you on there. I'm going to get a few people to do a one hour test in a couple of weeks.

Hey I just updated it with fixes to your issues and a big graphics update I had been working on.  Let me know if it's good now, and any other issues you run into.

Working on squashing a bunch of bugs right now and then Ill start focusing on optimizing the ui
