Hi there, I really love the game because it looks super amazing. I bought the full release on Steam but could not get pass the director's office, Idk what I didn't understand there but I tried hard and failed even harder. So I had to refund the game because I simply could not progress with the story. If the dev is watching this, could you please tell me what went wrong? I'd really like to play this game and buy it again. For now, I played the demo and again got stuck at the same place. :(

Hi! Thank you so much for your kind words — it really means a lot to me as the developer. I’m very happy that you enjoyed the atmosphere of the game!

About the part where you got stuck: there’s a small door on the floor in the director’s office. To progress, you just need to press CTRL to crouch/sit and then interact with that floor-level door. It’s easy to miss, so no worries!

If you ever decide to give the game another try, I’d be really glad to hear your thoughts again. And thank you once more for taking the time to write this!

And in future, if you will have any problems(cuz quests is quite hard here) you can alright to us in steam discussion section or in our discourse server.

Hi, thanks so much for helping out! I'll definitely buy the game later today again and play it and leave a Steam review after! It genuinely looks incredible and like something that I would play regardless of YT. My apologies for refunding it before asking, but usually when I ask the devs just ignore me, so I thought I'd get ignored this time too. But you seem to care about your game and players, so thank you for that! :)
P.S. Yes, I'm not good with puzzles at all, so this is entirely my fault then.

Hey! Thanks a lot for the kind words — seriously, it means more than you think.
And no worries at all about the refund, that’s completely understandable. Most players assume devs won’t answer, so we get it.

Our studio always tries to listen to players and help with anything they need. Whether it’s puzzles, bugs, questions, or just feedback — we’re here.
If you ever get stuck again or want some hints, just message us anytime. We’re always happy to help.

Thanks again for giving Nullwake another chance — we really appreciate it. 😊

Thank you for being cool about it all and helpful. I did end up buying it again and managed to go quite far in the story, all the way to the cabin (and it's been awesome), I'll make a part 2 soon. Tho I think there might be something wrong with the safe box in the cabin, I found the code but there's a bug, it won't always let you enter the numbers. Any suggestions before I make the part 2? :)

Hello! Thanks for the update — and glad to hear you made it all the way to the cabin.

We re-checked this part of the game: the build was tested multiple times by our QA team, so there should not be any major bugs that prevent players from finishing the story. We did notice the small issue you had earlier on the town map with the notes, and that one will be fixed immediately.

About the situation in the wooden house:
there are two important details. The only required key at this point is the one hidden inside the ball-maze puzzle on the second floor. Once the ball reaches the correct spot, the mechanism unlocks and gives you the key needed to progress.

As for the safe box:
you currently do not have the key for it, so the safe will not fully function yet. The safe itself works like a real mechanical safe — the first number must be entered by turning in one direction, and the next number by turning the dial in the opposite direction. That’s why it may feel inconsistent if the key hasn’t been found yet.

If anything else feels off during part 2, feel free to let us know — we are always ready to help.

Ohh okay, got it, must've found the wrong code then (or what I thought was the code). I'll look for it again. But yeah I figured the maze will lead us to the key - it's gonna be a tough one tho, I tried like 20 times, but I'll get it! :D

Thanks again, it's an awesome game!
