It won't let you save inside a conversation. But apart from that, if it's not letting you save, could you send me your savegame folder? Just zip up this folder

PC: %USERPROFILE%/AppData/LocalLow/Droid Productions/Love of Magic
OSX: ~/Library/Application Support/Droid Productions/Love of Magic
Linux: $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/unity3d/Droid Productions/Love of Magic

and email it to droidproductions@protonmail.com

ok, I'm feeling really stupid right now :-p

I didn't noticed first time, and then every try I gave was at the start of the game, turing the conversation with the mother :-)
