I couldn't stop until reaching 500 pumpkins. My only regret, it happened before i max out all stats. It is really addicting. Great job!

I really liked the art style and music, well done! I wish there were more upgrades to buy with like 10 pumpkins since i often ran out of pumpkins in a round and only had 14 collected and couldnt upgrade anything with 14 :(
This feels really like a complete game for something made in 7 days! The price that is 15 or higher seems hard to reach, though, so I didn't progress that far, but all the other aspect, music, art, and QoL feels really good and polished!
This game’s super addictive, and your designs and art are awesome! It was pretty tough at first tho. The skill upgrade prices looked so high they felt impossible, and I almost quit after just a few attempts (glad I didn’t!). I eventually figured things out and maxed out the skills, but I think adding a tutorial or just a short guide would help new players stick around. Great work overall! pretty cool game i like the idea, i do however think it needs some balancing. i get the idea is to buy upgrades but it feels like its impossible to play without the first few rather than user error. I understand limited time means not much playtesting time just a thought for if you want to take it further.
Thank you for playing! The idea for this game is to collect 500 pumpkins, after each round you must buy upgrades to be able to collect pumpkins faster, with less drag, be able to drag more pumpkins at once, have extra lives, etc… However, the skulls will try to get you and it is your task to perform evasive manoeuvres and drag pumpkins at the right time. If a skull is too enthusiastically following behind you can shoot the pumpkin you are currently dragging with the arrow keys to kill the skull(s) but you won’t be able to collect it ofcourse. Buying the right upgrades at the right time and moving in a smart way across the playground should make it less impossible to play :)

I think it would have been funnier if we could shoot with the mouse, like a left click !
Also, I've noticed something very frustrating, we don't keep the pumpkins we don't spend
Like I did a game, I had 10 pumpkins and couldnt spend it on anything but then I lost them
The game felt like grinding at first, but after getting all the upgrades, the satisfying feeling of progression and feeling overpowered kicks in HARD. Overall, this is a simple but powerful gameplay loop and I had fun playing it. One minor comment I had with the graphics was that the pumpkins are very square in shape and look more like persimmons than pumpkins.
this game was very enjoyable and well balanced I just felt like if there were more enemy types with different movement patterns like things charging at you or shooting at you it would have made the game way more enjoyable but even with this only one enemy type it is a great game and very fun.
What a delightful game!! i wish there was more items than the pumpkins which has more value and encourage the player to explore the environment more and some more details of the shop UI visually to make it feel more immersive!
Neat game! Liked the score/damage resource combination; didn't seem to be enough pumpkins to get the 15+ upgrades though. Solid music!
It would be cool if pumpkins spawn like from growing up or rolling in. Like the music and the witch’s expressions.
I really liked the concept and design. The balance is a bit tricky. Once you're faster than the skulls, you can completely ignore them.

Lots of fun but getting the 15 pumpkins needed for the more pumpkins upgrade was a bit of a challenge.
The music was a bop and the character and animation is so cute! The thing only thing that sorta bugged me was the aiming of pumpkins for shooting. I think it would just be better if it fired from the character instead. If I am carrying around more then 1 pumpkin it was hard to say which one would get fired.
Thanks so much! Yeah many people are saying they do not like the arrow keys for shooting the pumpkins, it is something i will replace with shooting towards the mouse cursor in a post jam version of the game :) Actually, if you are carrying more than 1 pumpkin it is the one with the dotted circle around that will get fired.
This was a lot of fun and very satisfying! The upgrades felt generous as well. The only feedback I have is that I nearly soft-locked myself after the first purchase since I bought the tether upgrade and didn't realize having more pumpkins would slow me down. I had to shoot more pumpkins to defend myself and couldn't afford any upgrades for 5-6 rounds. Maybe locking certain upgrades like that until you have more strength or movement speed could help or letting the player keep 5 or so pumpkins each round so they can grind back up. That was a relatively minor issue though and I thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the game!
The art and animation are excellent, and the music is really cute!
At the beginning, the player's movement speed is slower than the skull’s, making it easy to get caught.
It would be great to have a short dash with buffer time — that could make the game more exciting!
