I love pvz and this game mechanic of planting where dead bodies are is pretty cool, however the insects die offscreen from 1 row of sporeshooters.

Wish there was more.

I LOVED THE ART STYLE! A PvZ with fungi, BUT you can only place "plants" where dead bodies are. Loved it. It took me a while to figure out I have to place the white dead insect on the board to get currency to buy the other plants, but with a bit of polish and balancing you can make this into a full game! good job!

First off I love the art style, it is super cute and I think you fit the theme really well with the narrative! The music fit extremely well too and was super fun. What you've managed to do in the timeframe is super impressive! I will say on my first few tries I was super lost when it came to gameplay and what I was supposed to do. I think for the future even a simple explanation of controls in the description would be a big help!

That said, when I did figure it out I enjoyed it! I love tower defense games and this has tons of potential. If you were to continue working on this I'd suggest shrinking the particles or playing with the transparency as they got very overwhelming and intrusive very quickly. The only 'bugs' (haha) I encountered were the music cutting off and the game just freezing at some point, otherwise a pretty smooth experience!

Overall this was super solid, I would be excited to see a polished version of this in the future! :D

nice game, love the graphics.

In the game  page there is an option to play full screen, it will resize the game to the screen, Is hard to play now because the large resolution.

Good job,

This was so cute! A very good proof of concept. Definitely needs some touching up and quality of life updates but I love the art and the music and the idea behind this. I could play a finished version of this for hours!!

Game intresting, love the concept, bit hard to read the white text that tells you the cost of things, and the price is a bit low for free, fast producing with as many spots as you're given to start. I love how they run out after an amount of time! Adds a bit more intrigue. game did crash after a little for me, but the concept is v/ cool.  Meets the theme in the best of ways

Not sure if it's my mac or what but playing it felt impossible. The game was far too large for my screen and I couldn't figure out how to scale it down or full-screen it. The art and visuals are amazing tho! Unfortunately I was struggle with the controls a lot too couldn't really get things to work...

I really liked how you used the theme and the visuals look amazing! Great job!

I love the idea of being able to place your fungal defenses on the corpses of the enemies you kill, fits the theme great, and genuinely fun and interesting mechanic regardless. I will say I found it fairly easy to hold them off to the point the enemies often would not make it to the tiles though, so I couldn't always take advantage of this mechanic, but overall I like it a lot!

I let a fly reach the end and then the game froze
