Is the Submission Feed the proof we have worked on it?

Yep new to this jam business - so I have a game called Miami Life which I intend to gently use to poke humourously at a well known eighties tv series, anyway, anyway its currently built and on Itch and you can fly lots of vehicles and drive boats and all that but it is lacking a communication system so my aim is in a couple of short days to have you able to interact textually with characters although maybe just one character to start with but  i'll try and get two in - thing is the build that has no communication system is on itch now,  when I stick the new build as the itch download how do I prove its new?  like if I submit it here then say yeah, yeah I just put the text system in, and the old build that didn't have it is gone how is anyone going to know I worked on it?

I notice the page "Submissions Feed" So like if I change the downloadable Demo of Miami Life to the next build with the communications system in it will it automatically register there?

Proof? I don't strictly police entries... You have to want to improve your game. If you are trying to trick the system, then you've missed the whole point of the jam. Everything is designed to keep yourself accountable. Our Community helps with pointing out issues you may have missed and provides genuine feedback that may or may not be helpful. Any small improvement is enough. UI, Sound, Gameplay, etc...

Thanks for the reply, Anomrac21,

No, no trickery here, my concern was if I change the build i.e. the download its pointing at to a new one but people didn't know anything about the old one, would I then be in the  same position as before, with no proof that had been done?  I've been sending out these newbie messages for advice, and i've been told a Developer Post is enough to have folks see progress has been done,  so great will do that when the new build is up if I make like Indiana Jones and just get under the ever falling door of the time limit.

Cheers!
